Day 1 : ARRIVE KOLKATA
On
arrival at the airport you are transferred to your hotel. Afternoon a
half-day tour of Calcutta City. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : KOLKATA - BISHNUPUR
Early morning drive to Bishnupur en route visiting Durgapur viewing the
typical Bengal Villages on the way. Drive on and check into your lodge.
Evening visit the temples. Overnight at lodge.
Day 3 : BISHNUPUR - SHANTINIKETAN
Morning visit the Terra cotta Temples and the Textile Villages. Drive on to
Shantiniketan and check into your hotel. Evening visit the Biswabharati
University founded by Noble Laureate Rabindranath Tagore the great poet.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : SHANTINIKETAN - KOLKATA
Early morning visit the local Village that is famous for the folk singers
known as "Baul". Return to hotel and after break fast visit the
Museum at the University and browse the area. Afternoon drive to Calcutta
and check into your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : KOLKATA
Full day tour of Belur Math and the Dakshinakali Temple. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 6 : DEPART KOLKATA
Today you are transferred to the airport to board flight for onward
journey.
