Day 1 : ARRIVE KOLKATA
On arrival at the airport you are transferred to your hotel. Afternoon a
half-day tour of Calcutta City. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : KOLKATA - BASANTI - SUNDERBANS
Early morning drive to Basanti. From Basanti you will be transferred by
motor fitted country boat to the tourist lodge located in the Sunderbans
Islands. Afternoon view wildlife from the watchtower near the lodge.
Overnight at lodge.
Day 3 : SUNDERBANS
Morning a full day river cruise with packed food and fruits. Halt at
Sudhanyakhali watchtower (you have the possibility of seeing the Royal
Bengal Tiger) and viewing the Mangrove forest from the creeks. Overnight at
lodge.
Day 4 : SUNDERBANS - BASANTI - KOLKATA
Morning boat ride back to Basanti en route touring through the river (lunch
on the boat). On arrival at Basanti you will drive on to Calcutta and check
into your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : DEPART KOLKATA
Today you are transferred to the airport to board flight for onward
journey.
