A
crown in the Indian wildlife panorama, the Ranthambore National Park is
renowned for its abundant population of tigers. This sanctuary has developed
ideally under the project Tiger, to preserve this royal creature. The other
inhabitants of the sanctuary include marsh Crocodiles, Hyenas, Jungle Cats
Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara and Sloth Bears. This apart, 264 species are
present of the avian population.
Whereas Sambars are prey the most of the carnivores. The deadly panther is
also figure up, alert in the outskirts of the sanctuary, perhaps to save an
encounter with the tiger. The enchanting flora and fauna, along with the
easy visibility of tigers, makes this sanctuary a popular destination for
professional photographers too. The place is easily accessible through jeeps
and lorries.
